Athletes contested the state championship 2 mile in 95F weather at Westfield State University on 6/1. Colin Bennie took the boys race over Peter Hale. Catarina Rocha and Julie Mcconville battled in a highly anticipated race with Mcconville pushing the pace in the scorching heat throughout the race, but Rocha taking the lead for the win on the home stretch.
