2013 Great Bear Run

The Needham Track Club delivered another outstanding edition of the Great Bear Run today on Harris Ave in Needham. The photos from the meet have been uploaded to the galleries.

A few notes:

  • The lens puts one runner in focus at a time. Look for the shots you or your child are in focus in.
  • The original photos are high resolution(4896×3264). You can crop photos significantly when you order prints to isolate your subject.
  • There are packages that give significant discounts for buying 5-10-20-30 prints. You can get a discount on buying multiple digital downloads by using the coupon code NSP50PCTOFF, which takes 50% off when you buy 5 or more digital downloads at once.

Great Bear Run 2012

The Needham Track Club held the 22nd Great Bear Run to benefit Prostate Cancer Research on Sunday May 6th (results). The Photo galleries from the event include those for the 5K, 1 mile, 1 mile fun run, the “Bearathon“, 100m, 200m, and 400m runs.

The 5Km main event was won by Mike Jones of Cambridge in 15:42, followed by Matt Carter of Saugus and Philip Galesbach of Medford.

YOUTH RUNNERS: Note that in addition to the Great Bear galleries, Newton Sports Photography also has galleries of the Newton Heart Break Hill Road Race and the Northeast Indoor Classic.
